* (Spring, summer, fall, winter… and spring”)

This story is a circular Buddhist parable, the theme is the redemption of his characters, lost and alienated. The unnamed monk passing through his life into the four seasons, is a metaphor for the evolution of any human life, we can watch on him the impulse of violence, cruelty, sex, passion, possessive love, towards balance, tranquility, reconciliation with the world, with nature, with himself.

Another aspect in the film, is the game with symbols: the spring retracts the icy mantle to make way for a new course. The summer heats up the heart and passion. Autumn symbolizes the decline; decay and moment give way to a devastated scene of bitter memories but with glowing ashes. Meanwhile, winter freezes everything; nothing escapes his cold hand, leaving a field aseptic environment for new gaits.

Researching more about the film, I found that the director even said that this is a film that is universal and doesn't need to be familiar with Buddhism to understand it. May be it's true, but also some knowledge of Eastern culture would help us to understand many of the visual signs that appear throughout the film. If we recall, for example, this religion believes in reincarnation, one understands the reason for the old monk scolding the child when he tortured the three small animals: "that rock you've attached to them, carried her into the heart throughout your life". This also explains, finally, that the adult monk (played by the director) meet the punishment of their teacher not as a painful penalty, but as a way to achieve wholeness. Finally, he can become a teacher too. And the circle is closed; only to have another is opened.

Someone has said that this film is actually a "zen biography", and rightly so. More than an exotic story, this is a parable that attempts to explain the meaning of life from the perspective of Buddhist philosophy. It is a lesson of discipline, renunciation, integration into the wild, and finally serenity.

...and suddenly, he remembered that his Physics´ teacher, sometimes told them about a very important scientist, who since twenty years ago had been developing an investigation about Worm Holes for travel through the time, but the scientific community didn´t take him seriously, so he ran away to a small town, that by chance was near of the Tymy´s home.


Tymy had heard "men of science are crazy guys", but his wish to pass his subjet was biggest , so the little boy went to look for him.

He was on the road, he was thinking about his idea, when a couple of bad kids intercepted him...

Albert Einstein one a day tell to the world that the abilyty of travel in time maybe be possible if the human kind find the way to manage the time variable, If We do that, the travel agencies will ofered us a especial travel packs trough the time, But it is impossible, yet.

But, in a little secondary school of mexico there was a child, he was nicknamed Tymy because he has very obsessed with all topics relationated with the time. The past, the Present and future of the human kind, one day he began to learn english in that school but he never pass his exams, so for solve his problem he dreamed in build a time machine only for stop the time for 15 minutes and copy and pass all his exams.

But it was very diffcult, anyone in the history of the world was built a time machine, and much less in mexico!, so Tymy needed to learm a lot of science and develop technology unknow only for copy for 15 minutes in the exams!!!.

So Tymy Thinked about his dream.......[continue the story]

Eder y Josefina about Brass Knuckles

We think "Brass Knuckles" is a good text about what it means be brave, although its characters are teenagers and context situation recreates a teenager world, is possible to extrapolate its moral to our adult lives our situations and problems.

There are different ways to address our dificulties especially those who assault our freedom and dignity and always it can respond violence with violence if we make a literal reading of the text, but following the moral that the author says at the end "there is always a jujitsu for all Red" we are invited to be creative and find how to keep our beliefs whit us a do what we must do to maintain our dignity and self esteem.

My opinion about Brass Knuckles

I think that Brass Knuckles is a text that traies to explain how a human being can find the correct way to fight without force.
The author talks about the envy that the main character feels to Red because he is stronger than everyone in the city. This main character is intimatated by Red because he knows how to fight. Nevertheless, the main character decides to preparing by himself in fighting and wrestling, he tooks a texbook on jujitsu and then, he learns techniques of how to be faster than the enemy.
This character is a poet and his first poem was to Red, for that reason Red banged him. So, the message of the text is that everyone can be brave and do not care the way you get to fight, you can beat only using your encourage and your intelligence.
Finally, one phrase is open with this text: "the brave can live only until the cowardly wants".

Tv programs like Brozo and the ones from Eugenio Derbez make laugh Netzi.
One thing that makes Oscar and Netzi laugh are Pepito's histories.
Also, Jess and Netzi find really funny The Simpsons.
Something that makes me laugh is looking somebody else laughing.

What makes us feel happy?
Netzi: Listening to music, specially The Peñas or Bolivian music, makes him feel happy.
Oscar: Sleeping enough time, eating and having something to do make him feel happy.
Jess: Being with her best friends makes her feel happy.
Yetza: Breathing, loving, enjoying and feeling free... make me feel happy.

The world needs you!! Don't turn your back

How to care our planet? Here are some tips that we all know, but none apply:

1. Every home should have a rainwater tank to water plants or use the bathroom.

2. No sidewalks or wash the car with a hose to spend a lot of water, must perform these tasks with a bucket of water, so water is not wasted.

3. Water plants early in the morning or evening, because in the afternoon, the water evaporates faster.

4. Do not take long baths, and the keys should be close when we use soap.

5. Try using the car as less as possible. Replace with a bicycle, or walking. So we spent less fuel, produce less polluting gases and improve our health physics.

 6. Batteries are highly polluting. We have to look for sites that collect batteries.



7. Try to eat organic foods as much as possible. They produce organic foods that do not pollute the environment with toxic poisons, and food is natural and healthy.

8. Plant trees! They provide shade, clean air, mask noise and need much less water than lawns.

9. Faucet aerators provide good pressure while reducing water use. The standard faucet flow rate is 5 gallons a minute. A low flow aerator can reduce this flow to approximately 2 1/2 gallons a minute while still providing adequate water for washing and rinsing. Installing aerators on the kitchen sink and lavatory faucets will save hot water and cut water use by as much as 60 gallons a month for a typical family of four.

10. Save water and money by fixing leaky faucets. A dripping faucet can waste 20 gallons of water a day or more.

11. Install low flow toilets. Toilets using only 2 gallons per flush can save 60% more water than a higher gallon per flush toilet. Leaky toilets can waste up to 500 gallons of water a day.

12. Buy products in bulk. Packaging increases product cost and adds more to our landfills.

13. When you need a new refrigerator, look for an energy efficient model.

14. Keep a food discard collection container (for composting) handy at the sink

15. Use cloth napkins instead of disposable napkins.

16. BRING YOUR LUNCH IN REUSABLE CONTAINERS rather than disposable packaging.

17. Save energy. Close off rooms in your house that your are not using.

18. If possible, arrange to work at home, bank via the Internet and shop by mail or on-line. Cutting down on the use of cars reduces consumption of fossil fuels and helps keep air pollution under control.

19. Indoor drains discharge to waste water treatment plant. When cleaning up painting equipment & tools, wash them in an interior drain. Water based paints are less toxic and easiest to cleanup after.

20. Disposable batteries = more landfill waste & pollution. Use rechargeable batteries. Regular alkaline batteries are not recycled.

21. Use a water efficient washer - wash only full loads & use cold water when possible.

22. Buy products containing recycled content material (jackets made from recycled plastic, paper, glass).

23. After you have prevented as much waste as possible while at the store, recycle any waste that is newspaper, glass, plastic bottles tubs or jars, cardboard, tin cans, mixed paper, milk cartons or aluminum.

 

24. Take used oil to recycling station-do not pour on ground or into storm drain!

 

25. Keep tires inflated correctly to reduce wear on tires & maximize mileage. Avoid air pollution by minimizing idling time.

3. Be optimistic: Think in your future and remember... the most important thing is to be determined

4. If you discovered that you are talented in other thing, you have to be honest mith yourself and decide what way to take.

The company lends at 300 dealerships in 40 Chinese cities, Nikkei said. Toyota’s goal is to offer loans at 800 dealerships in 60 cities by the end of next fiscal year, Nikkei said.

When log in “Blogger” you can go to the link “dashboard” at the right hand up corner of the page. And will see your profile and the blogs where you are participating. Our Blog is named: Mixed Expressions.

Now you can post in the Blog like an author, only you need to do is make click in the blue button (new post) and follow the instructions of the next page and write that you want.
